Sixth Form success in the British Physics and Astronomy Olympiad

A big ‘well done and congratulations’ to several of our A-Level Scientists who have achieved success in the British Physics Olympiad (BPhO) and British Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad (BAAO). Several of our fabulous Year 12 students came away with medals including Ali Latifshahi who won gold; Stanley Clarke and Barnaby Allen winning silver and James Burton and Kartik Kumar achieving the bronze.

A special mention for Robert Simpson in Year 13 who achieved a full set of gold medals, placing him amongst the top participants within the UK. This incredible performance means that Robert has now made the 4 person team to represent the UK in the GeCAA Global e-Competition on Astronomy and Astrophysics!
