A Level Results Day 2023

Thursday 17th August 2023.

We are really pleased to be celebrating the success of many students here at Allestree Woodlands. Our students have regrouped following a disrupted start to A levels due to Covid; overall school results are better this year than before the pandemic with 70% A* - C grades and 40% A*- B. We are really proud of them all for digging in and tackling this challenge and achieving such great outcomes.

Students are going on to pursue a range of destinations including Oxbridge for two of our students who both achieved a string of A* grades to secure their places.

There were impressive results across many subjects with 50% or more of students studying physics, PE, art, maths and chemistry scoring A* - B grades and over 30% scoring A/A* in English literature, politics, PE, chemistry, maths and physics.
